University counselors belong to the administrative establishment of the school, and their salary is medium, slightly lower than that of people's teachers. College counselors are mainly engaged in students' ideological and political education, student management and the construction of student party groups. The basic requirements of counselors are: to abide by the professional standards of patriotism, law-abiding, dedication and love for students, and to be a teacher.
The extension of the basic definition of counselor;
Counselors are the teachers who manage students' work in the whole department. The student is called a tutor, which is equivalent to the head teacher of a high school. They don't attend classes, but only care about students' daily life (mainly students' life and ideological work), including students' status information, loans, scholarships, psychological problems, and some even have to check classes and sleep. In short, they deal with students' daily affairs and generally have nothing to do with teaching.
College counselors should cooperate with tutors, school hospitals, psychological and vocational guidance centers, actively communicate with educational administrative departments and schools without a unified standard system, establish a certain responsibility system from the first grade, and give it to them when necessary.
The expansion of the basic work content of counselors;
Counselors refer to school public officials engaged in students' ideological and political education, students' daily management, employment guidance, mental health and the construction of student party groups. Each counselor generally manages one or several classes. Counselors' duties shall be carried out according to the Professional Ability Standard for Counselors in Colleges and Universities (Provisional).
