Many people dream of what they want to be, but what will you eventually become when you grow up?

Even if these ideals are realized, many people find that daily life is completely different from what they imagined, and it is monotonous day after day.

When setting goals, many people either follow the crowd to make decisions, or simply cater to the expectations of others, or think that their lives can go on step by step as planned.

However, with the change of vision, ability and resources, what everyone wants to do will change. Moreover, if you choose the wrong path from the beginning, then your persistence will only make you go further and further on the wrong path. ...

This is actually caused by planning thinking.

Planning thinking means that life is a project, every detail from beginning to end can be thought out in advance, and as long as the goal is found, it must be resolutely completed.

So many people have left unconsciously, but the inner conflict is getting more and more fierce. Obviously, they are still confused, uneasy and miserable on their way to success. Therefore, planning thinking is sometimes a big pit.

It's a pity that I want to give up my present achievements, but I'm not willing to give up.

Standing at the crossroads of life, what should I do?

I recommend this book to you today, which can help you learn how to design your life with "design thinking".

This book provides a new way of thinking: design thinking.

Using design thinking can help us rearrange our outlook on life, find a job that really suits us and live a happy and meaningful life.

Design thinking requires us to solve the problems encountered in various stages of life with a dynamic vision, just like product designers. It requires us to redefine the problem, find as many options as possible, and then choose to try quickly.

If you are not satisfied with your present life and don't know what's wrong, you will need these two tools: identify gravity problems and detect them with the dashboard.

Gravitational problems refer to those problems that cannot be solved.

For example, you are unemployed at home 1-2 years and can't find a job. What should you do? You can't change employers' stereotype of long-term unemployed people. This is the problem that cannot be solved.

These problems, like the gravity of the earth, cannot be changed and can only be faced.

Accepting the status quo is the starting point of all design, so is life design.

The starting point is not where you want to go or where you think you should be, but where you are now.

This dashboard consists of four elements: work, entertainment, health and love.

You can control your life by evaluating the satisfaction of these elements.

For example, at work, you can make a list of your daily work contents, evaluate which ones have growth value and which ones are purely consuming your time and energy, and then evaluate your satisfaction with your work, whether it has realized your value, whether you have a sense of accomplishment, whether you are satisfied with your work and so on. And get the comprehensive satisfaction score.

So is entertainment. Write down your recreational activities outside of work and see how much of your activities are for entertainment, not value.

I'm sure you have done it before. In order to save time, you often do both, listening to English when sweeping the floor and reading with headphones when walking. ...

But this is not real entertainment.

If there are too few pure recreational activities, the body will resist, which means losing enthusiasm for work.

For the sake of health, I suggest you have a physical examination every day to evaluate your health.

The health here is not only physical condition, but also emotional and psychological health.

And love. Reflected in many aspects, such as lovers, children, parents, friends and so on. Make a list to see how much love you usually give, how much feedback you get, and whether you feel the love given by others.

Finally, according to the comprehensive evaluation of these four elements, an objective result can be obtained. In fact, in the process of evaluation, we can see where we have gone wrong.

The happiness of life mainly comes from the balance of these four elements.

Of course, complete balance is impossible, but the most important thing is to know what you care about most.

This is essential for designing a satisfactory life.

There is no right or wrong choice in life, only you are satisfied or dissatisfied.

We spend most of our lives working. If you work only to improve your life, you will be confused when you are satisfied.

According to this idea, you need to reflect on the concept of work. Besides improving one's living conditions, can the potential energy accumulated by work be linked with some grand significance? Do you have a star to put in the sky?

You know, any job can accumulate potential energy, but the meaning and goal of each job are different. Many people are confused because they haven't thought about it.

So, you can want more potential energy, but those are the results of doing something constantly, and they are also the means to pursue bigger goals.

All kinds of activities we engage in every day, whether physical or mental, are consuming our energy. The difference is that some activities will make us feel that the energy gained is greater than the energy consumed.

For example, if you want to take over a job, you can barely make it, and the energy you feel is far less than what you spend, so you will feel hollowed out.

But if you like writing very much, the joy and sense of accomplishment you get when you finish writing an article may be far greater than the consumption you have made for writing, so even if you have just finished writing an article, you still feel relaxed and energetic.

So, you can see which jobs can make you feel energetic and which ones you have to force yourself to finish.

Everyone must be very familiar with the traffic experience.

Flow means being completely immersed in a certain state and not feeling the flow of time.

The writing example mentioned above is likely to generate traffic because it is a favorite job.

Observing and recording the flow experience attentively is an important indicator for us to find the direction.

Through the "Good Time Journal", after finding something that can inspire us, we can adjust our focus and give it meaning. At this time, we will have our own clear goals like rockets, know what we want, and move forward firmly on our own track.
