At present, there are more than 2,200 students in the Department of Foreign Languages, including more than 30 full-time and part-time teachers, including associate professors 15, 2 graduate students, several lecturers and teaching assistants, and foreign teachers from American English Association, Japan and other countries.

The foreign language department has a strong faculty. Fifteen associate professors have been engaged in teaching for many years and have rich teaching experience.

Among them, Professor Yu Linsen, the leader of the Department of Foreign Languages, is a well-known professor in the field of foreign languages in Jiangxi Province. Engaged in foreign language teaching and research for decades, published dozens of papers, edited textbooks and published monographs. He has done a lot of research in English teaching.

Professor Du Jianping, head of the department, graduated from the Department of Oriental Languages and Japanese in Peking University. He used to be a full-time translator in a large and medium-sized enterprise in Jiangxi Province, translating millions of words of technical materials. He also visited Japan with the delegation many times as an interpreter, and then went to Japan for further study. Proficient in Japanese, with high attainments and rich experience in Japanese teaching.

Zeng, director of English teaching and research section, graduated from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics with an MBA. He once worked in a large foreign trade enterprise in Jiangxi Province, and was familiar with English and international trade practices. Since teaching, he has been studious and determined to engage in English teaching and research, and his lessons have been well received by teachers and students.

English and Japanese foreign teachers in this department have pure pronunciation and can integrate Chinese and foreign cultures into daily teaching. They teach oral English and pronunciation courses in our department.
