2. School-running system:
The Foreign Affairs University adopts a multi-standard, multi-level and multi-form school-running system to recruit doctoral, master and undergraduate students. It has set up nine teaching units, including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Affairs Management, the Department of English, the Department of Foreign Languages, the International Legal System, the School of International Economics, the School of International Relations and the School of International Education, and more than 30 research centers, including the Institute of Asian Studies and the Institute of International Law.

The School of Foreign Affairs now has two national key disciplines: international relations and diplomacy. English language and literature is a national major, and political science (a first-class discipline) is a sophisticated discipline in Beijing. The Foreign Affairs University has signed cooperation agreements (memorandums of understanding) with 152 universities (institutions) in 76 countries (regions) outside China, among which 84 universities have carried out substantive cooperation. Every year, some excellent undergraduate and graduate students are sent to universities in the United States, Britain, Russia, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, Switzerland and other countries for exchange and study.
2. Teachers:
The Foreign Affairs University has more than 400 faculty members, including more than 70 full-time teachers/kloc-0. In addition, more than 70 senior diplomats and well-known experts and scholars were employed as part-time professors.
