Tsinghua Xingjian College is a college in Tsinghua University, which undertakes the training of talents in theoretical and applied mechanics (including the direction of engineering connection). Li Junfeng, a professor at Tsinghua University Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a national-level teacher, is the dean of the institute.

In 2020, in order to better implement the plan of strengthening the foundation, at the same time, to better establish an undergraduate teaching system based on general education and combining general education with professional education, and to maintain the advantages of cultivating talents with a thick foundation and wide caliber, Tsinghua University established five academies as the talent training units of the plan of strengthening the foundation: Zhili Academy, Rixin Academy, Weiyang Academy, Tan Wei Academy and Xingjian Academy.

Tsinghua has newly established five colleges, namely Zhili, Weiyang, Tan Wei, Xingjian and Rixin, to promote the training of talents for the Strong Foundation Program as a whole; On the basis of highlighting the supporting and leading role of basic disciplines, the creative design of basic science and engineering should be carried out in accordance with the double bachelor's degree in science and engineering. Students who meet the qualification requirements for exemption from examination after graduation from Tsinghua University can be recommended to study for master's or doctoral students in related majors without examination.
