Located in Beijing, China Conservatory of Music was founded by the Ministry of People, Culture and Tourism of China and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. It is based on Chinese studies and has the unique characteristics of music education and research in China.
The music colleges and universities that train high-level professionals engaged in the research, creation, performance and education of China's music theory are national "double-first-class" universities, China government scholarship institutions for overseas students, the Secretariat School of the Global Music Education Alliance, and Beijing "high-level research universities".
At the proposal of Premier Zhou Enlai, the school was established in 1964. 1973, China Conservatory of Music merged with the Central Conservatory of Music to form the Conservatory of Music of the Central May 7th Art Institute; 1980 in may, China conservatory of music resumed its organizational system.
As of July 20 14, the school covers a total area of 60.27 mu, with 329 undergraduates/kloc-0, 524 postgraduates (doctors and masters) and 387 faculty members. 20 17 March school official website shows that the school offers 1 1 teaching units; In 20 17, the school set up 3 enrollment majors, 15 professional directions; Postdoctoral mobile stations 1 each, first-class doctoral programs 1 each, first-class master programs 1 each, and professional master programs 1 each. As of 2065438+February 2008, China Conservatory of Music was an examination institution for social art level.
