The college began to train computer talents from 1994, and has two first-class master's programs (computer science and technology, software engineering) and 1 national defense specialty disciplines.
The existing undergraduate majors include software engineering, computer science and technology, information security, and medical imaging technology, among which, "National Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" major 1, "Sichuan Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" major 1, two specialty majors in Sichuan Province, and the school brand "81".
The college has an excellent scientific research and teaching platform, equipped with advanced teaching and experimental equipment. The laboratory covers an area of more than 8,000 square meters, and the total value of teaching and research equipment is more than 39 million yuan (including 2 1 10,000 yuan of research equipment).

In recent years, students have studied hard on the learning platform provided by colleges and schools, actively participated in extracurricular scientific research activities and other activities, fully demonstrated their talents, and achieved remarkable results: they won the national robot TV competition and won the second place in robot contest in the Asia-Pacific region (students in our college are mainly responsible for software design).
