Sichuan University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, a high-level research-oriented comprehensive university located in the west of China, and a national "double-class" construction university (Class A). Sichuan University is located in Chengdu, a famous historical and cultural city in China. It has three campuses, namely Wangjiang, Huaxi and Jiang 'an, covering an area of 7,050 mu and a building area of 2,806,400 square meters.

Sichuan University School of Literature and Journalism has a long history. As early as the establishment of Jinjiang College (1704) and Zunjing College (1875), the predecessor of Sichuan University, Chinese was opened.
