It is understood that in view of the inconvenience caused to teachers and students by the lack of ceiling in the swimming pool, the school specially hired a construction team to build a ceiling for the swimming pool during the winter vacation. The ceiling is made of aluminum alloy with good toughness and corrosion resistance, covered with a layer of white shading material with the graphic logo of Huazhong Agricultural University, and surrounded by white movable shading curtains, which can effectively block the sunshine in Wuhan in summer. According to the person in charge of the sports department, the construction of the roof was carefully decided after considering various factors. In the past, outdoor swimming pools were all open in summer, and the strong sunshine during the day discouraged many swimmers. There are few people swimming in the huge swimming pool, especially in rainy days. Therefore, the efficiency of the swimming pool is greatly reduced and the resources are not fully utilized. Now, "after installing this roof, the swimming environment has been improved, avoiding sun and rain, and the opening hours of the swimming pool will be greatly extended."
