Wuhan University of Arts and Sciences is a private university. Wuhan University of Arts and Science is an independent private undergraduate college directly under the Hubei Provincial Department of Education. The school is located atNo. 1 Shenghai Avenue, Hankou North Avenue, Changjiang New Town, Wuhan. The college was formerly an independent college, Jianghan University College of Arts and Sciences, which was founded in September 2002.

As of June 2022, the school has Wuhu Campus (main campus), Liuzhi Campus and Daye Campus, of which Wuhu Campus covers an area of 592 mu and Daye Campus covers an area of 372 mu.
