Hebei Medical University, located in Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province, is a provincial backbone university with a century-old history and excellent medical education tradition. It is a university jointly established by the People's Government of Hebei Province, the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the Ministry of Education.

Its predecessor was 1894 Beiyang Medical College approved by the Qing government. 1In May, 1995, Hebei Medical College, Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shijiazhuang Medical College merged to form a new Hebei Medical University, which is a basic capacity-building engineering university among universities in the central and western regions.

Hebei Medical University has a long history, many teaching departments and abundant teachers, but the scale is small, only about 340 mu, which is similar to the scale of a department of Wuhan University. The scientific research strength and teaching equipment need to be improved. Medical colleges rank first in Hebei province, but they are still relatively backward compared with the well-known medical colleges in China, and the number of applicants is not very fierce. Hospital introduction: It is a provincial comprehensive third-class first-class hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, health care, rehabilitation and first aid. The hospital has three campuses, Zhongshan, Youyi and Xiangjiang, with 1956 beds.

Recommended majors: orthopedics and nephrology (orthopedics is one of the top ten disciplines in China and also a key discipline in Hebei Province).
