Ashikaga City is located in the southwest of Tochigi Prefecture and is proud of its beautiful nature and long history. Ashikaga city is surrounded by green nature, and the city benefits from the clean water from Duliang to Sichuan. As the oldest comprehensive university and the oldest Confucius Temple in Japan, Ashikaga School has a high reputation and was once the center of Japanese Confucianism. Ashikaga has a population of about160,000 and an area of about 178 square kilometers, which is 80 kilometers north of Tokyo. It is adjacent to Sano City in the east and north, Tongsheng City in Gunma Prefecture in the west, and Ota City and Guanlin City in Gunma Prefecture in the south. As a well-known city with a well-developed textile industry, it has developed into a comprehensive commercial industrial city centered on aluminum products, plastic products and machinery industry in recent years.
