Are Morality and Rule of Law Public Required Courses?
Morality and rule of law are compulsory courses. It is a new compulsory course in the reform of political theory course in national colleges and universities in 2005. This course, together with An Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and Socialism with Chinese characteristics's Theoretical System and Situation and Policy, constitutes a Marxist political theory course system for all college students.

The course takes the socialist core value system as the main line, the education of ideals and beliefs as the core, and the education of patriotism as the focus to help students establish a correct outlook on life, values and world outlook. A course to guide students to cultivate and practice socialist core values, improve their ideological and moral cultivation and legal quality, and help college students correctly understand society, others and themselves.
