Brief introduction of Jinan Vocational College:
Jinan Vocational College is a full-time vocational college organized by Jinan Municipal Government, a demonstration vocational college in Shandong Province, a national backbone vocational college and the first batch of high-quality vocational colleges in Shandong Province. Founded in 2004, the school was formed by the merger of the former Jinan Institute of Education, Jinan Machinery Workers College and Jinan Workers' University of Science and Technology.
College graduates are generally welcomed by the society because of their high comprehensive quality and strong practical ability. In 2007, students majoring in finance and economics won the first prize of the first "National ERP Skills Competition for College Students" of UFIDA Cup, the second prize of the national finals group and the second prize of the individual. Students majoring in electronic engineering won the third prize of the National Sheng Da Cup Electronic Graduation Design and Innovative Design Grand Prix; Department of mechanical engineering students won the first prize of "Shandong University Students' Innovative Design Competition for Mechanical and Electrical Products". The employment rate of graduates in 2006 and 2007 was 97.2 1% and 97.46% respectively.
