Haiyuan College of Kunming Medical University is located in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The school has two campuses: Yanglin Campus, a vocational education base in Songming, Yunnan, and Gaoxin Campus, a high-tech development zone in Kunming. Yanglin Campus is the main campus, and the two campuses have 698.2 mu of school land.

As of March 20 15, the school has two departments (humanities and social sciences department and basic education department) and nine departments, offering 18 undergraduate majors and professional directions. Majors include: nursing, pharmacy, public enterprise management (health management direction), environmental science (environmental medicine direction), rehabilitation therapy, sports rehabilitation and health, stomatology, English (medical and health direction), information management and information system (computer technology and medical and health direction), labor and social security (medical insurance direction).
