President Rudenstam, Harvard graduates and friends:

Today, I am very honored and happy to be invited to share this happy moment with the graduates of 1998, and also to share this happy moment with the family and friends who have supported you all the way and given you advice and encouragement. I do remember sitting where many of you sat this morning, when I was a member of Class 1968. I still remember how uncertain and insecure I was that day, but how supportive my father was. Your family and professors are naturally proud of your achievements and are glad to see that you have a bright future when you graduate.

Today, I am honored and happy to be invited to share this happy moment with you. There are not only graduates of' 98, but also friends and relatives in your. There is no doubt that they have always supported you, given you advice and encouraged you with good advice. I clearly remember that as a 68-year-old graduate, I sat where many of you sat this morning. I still remember how uneasy I was that day and how proud my father was. Your family and professors should be proud of your achievements and happy to see that you are facing a bright future after graduation.

I'm proud, too. I am proud to see that so many capable young men and women are about to embark on their future careers, where they can make good use of their years of study and preparation. After strict training in formal education, you are now ready to take on new responsibilities and tasks. In a world full of possibilities, you are only responsible for your own performance, humanity and correctness of judgment.

I'm proud, too. I am proud to see so many capable young people make good use of what they have learned over the years in their future careers. Through strict formal education, you are now ready to take on new responsibilities and tasks, and take responsibility for yourself in a world full of opportunities with your performance, your humanity and your accurate judgment.

But I want you to remember that this is not a world full of possibilities for everyone. Each of you is the beneficiary of a rare privilege. You received a special education in a special place, and in your country, my country and many other places in the world, there are many people who are as talented and ambitious as you, but they will never have such an opportunity. I'm not saying this to make you feel guilty. You should be proud of what you have achieved. But I ask you to pursue the most valuable goal with your education; Goals that help improve the lives of others; And the goal of giving you personal satisfaction because of your contribution to the society in which we live.

But I want you to remember that not all people in the world have this opportunity. Each of you is the beneficiary of this precious privilege. You received a high-quality education in a special place. At the same time, in you, my country and many other places in the world, many people are as talented and ambitious as you, but they will never have such an opportunity. I'm not saying this to make you feel guilty. You should be proud of your achievements. But I sincerely ask you to apply what you have learned to the most valuable goal; Committed to creating a better life for others; Only in this way can you be satisfied with your contribution to the society in which we live.

I believe that those of you who graduated today, recently graduated and recently graduated, and returned to Harvard to meet friends from your, can make a lot of contributions to social progress. You can be interested in the world around you and blend in. With your education, you can provide the society with the benefits of your basic knowledge, as well as wider wisdom and great sense of purpose. You also have the ability to teach others to be more tolerant, understanding and caring. I believe your understanding of this special responsibility will guide your actions.

I believe that those of you who graduated today, those who graduated a few years ago, and those who have come back to meet friends from Harvard, as well as recent graduates, will certainly make more contributions to creating a better society.
