1. Tibetan Language and Literature Major: This major trains high-level professionals with solid Tibetan language foundation and professional knowledge and understanding Tibetan culture and history. Students will learn Tibetan listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation skills, and learn and appreciate Tibetan literary works.

2. Tibetan studies major: specialized in training senior professionals with comprehensive knowledge and ability to systematically study Tibet's politics, economy, history and culture.
