China University of Political Science and Law, located in Beijing, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and co-founded by the Ministry of Education and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. It is a national "double-first-class" construction university and a "2 1 1 project" construction university.

China University of Political Science and Law has Changping Campus and Haidian Campus, with 18 143 students and194 teachers. There are 19 teaching units and 26 undergraduate majors. At present, there are 39 doctoral degree authorization points, 76 master degree authorization points, professional master degree authorization points 1 1, and 4 postdoctoral research mobile stations; Law is a first-class discipline and a national key discipline. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation, the evaluation result of law discipline is A+.

It is a university with the characteristics and advantages of law, as well as politics, economics, management, literature, history, philosophy, education and science and engineering, and is known as "the highest institution of law education in China".

Undergraduate majors

The school has 26 undergraduate majors, including law, investigation, political science and administration, administration, international politics, public management, business administration, economics, international business, financial engineering, philosophy, Chinese language and literature, network and new media, mathematics and applied mathematics, information management and information system (information management under the rule of law) and information and computing science.

The school has 39 doctoral degree authorization points, 76 master degree authorization points, 1 1 professional master degree authorization points, and 4 postdoctoral research mobile stations. Law, political science, Marxist theory and theoretical economics are the first-level disciplines authorized by doctoral degree, while philosophy, applied economics, sociology, psychology, foreign languages and literature, journalism and communication, China history, business administration and public administration are the first-level disciplines authorized by master degree.

Among them, law is a first-class discipline and politics is a first-class discipline in Beijing. Evidence science was selected into the list of high-tech disciplines in Beijing universities. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation, nine first-level disciplines of the school participated in the evaluation and all of them were on the list, among which law entered the A+ file.
