Jiawang Campus of Jiangsu Normal University is an old campus with a history of more than 60 years, profound cultural background and beautiful campus environment. Its predecessor was Xuzhou (Coal) Industrial School, and it was merged into Xuzhou Normal University, the predecessor of Jiangsu Normal University, in February 1999, becoming one of the four campuses of the school.
Jiangsu Normal University Jiawang Campus has a management committee. Under the leadership of the Party Committee and the administration of the school, the CMC coordinates and handles campus affairs in accordance with the management system of "compartmentalization with priority". The CMC consists of six departments: Party and Government Office, Student Affairs Office, Logistics Office, Academic Affairs Office, Security Office and Veteran Cadres Office. There are 37 faculty members, who are responsible for daily administrative affairs, teaching services, student education management, logistics support, security and campus outreach.
