In 2022, Shandong was renamed as a university with Weifang Medical College, Weifang College and Shandong Jiaotong University.

The first one: Weifang Medical College

The school is a full-time general medical college in Shandong Province. Became 1986 the third batch of master's degree awarding units in China, and also the construction unit of doctoral degree awarding project in Shandong Province.

There are two campuses in Fuyan Mountain and Yu He, two directly affiliated hospitals, 1 1 non-directly affiliated hospitals, 1 1 first-class disciplines authorized by master's degree. Clinical medicine not only passed the professional certification of the Ministry of Education, but also entered the top of ESI global ranking 1%.

As early as 20 17, the name change of Weifang Medical College was included in the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" of colleges and universities established by the Ministry of Education. At present, Weifang Medical College has entered the sprint stage by changing its name to "University".

The Second Institute: Weifang College

Weifang University has been calling for upgrading to a university for many years. The school is a full-time comprehensive undergraduate college in Shandong Province, the construction unit of a provincial-level famous school for cultivating applied talents, and the provincial master's degree is awarded to a class unit.

The campus covers an area of 1.543 mu (1.030 square meters), with 7 undergraduate majors1piece, covering ten disciplines such as science, engineering, literature, management and agriculture. Computer science and technology, mathematics and applied mathematics, mechanical design, manufacturing and automation are all national majors.

It is worth mentioning that in the final of 20 17 World University Supercomputer Competition (ASC 17), the school team broke the world record and won the highest computing performance award.

Just recently, it was reported that in 2022, Weifang City will increase its support, strengthen service guarantee, promote Weifang Medical College to be upgraded to "Medical University" and support Weifang College to be transformed into "Shandong Technical Normal University".

Third Institute: Shandong Jiaotong University

The school is located in Quancheng, Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province. It is a university with the characteristics of cultivating comprehensive transportation talents. Co-built by Shandong Province and the Ministry of Transport, it is the construction unit of the famous school project of cultivating applied talents in Shandong Province.

The school is divided into two campuses: Jinan and Weihai, and now it has four campuses: Jinan Changqing Campus, Wuyingshan Campus, East Campus and Weihai Campus. There are 62 undergraduate majors in transportation and machinery, and 2 master majors; Transportation, civil engineering, vehicle engineering, logistics engineering, traffic engineering, computer science and technology, etc. They are all featured and advantageous majors of the school.

On February 18, the school held a meeting of middle-level cadres in the spring semester of 2022 in Changqing Campus. During the period, the secretary of the Party Committee of the school mentioned in his speech: "2022 is the sprint year for the school to become a master's degree awarding unit, and it is the key year for realizing the' university renaming'"!
