On-campus and off-campus environment of Michigan State University
stay
Michigan State University has two ways of accommodation. The first type is ordinary dormitory, including double rooms, single rooms, triple rooms and quadruple rooms. The second is an apartment dormitory, where 2-4 students live together and have separate bathrooms and kitchens. All freshmen need to live on campus.
Food and drink
Corresponding to the type of accommodation, Michigan State University also has two meal plans. One is for students living in dormitories. There are three options. Those who live in apartments or off campus can choose the second meal plan, which contains less meals and is suitable for students who cook by themselves.

Students from Michigan State University come from 50 states,1more than 30 countries. They have won some of the most famous academic awards and titles in the world. There are more than 600 student organizations and 200 academic organizations in culture, art, media and social politics.

The campus of Michigan State University is located near the Red Shirt River in East Lansing. The campus is built in a virgin forest in 1855. North of the Sequoia River is the oldest part of the campus. This area is where three school buildings were when the school was founded. Its architectural styles include neo-Gothic architecture, academic architecture and ancient Roman architecture. The north campus is lush with trees and winding roads.
