Shandong University of Finance and Economics is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and Shandong Province. It is located in Jinan, a national historical and cultural city with the reputation of a spring city. It is a financial university with a long history, large scale and distinctive school-running characteristics, focusing on economy and management, and eight disciplines including literature, law, science, engineering, teaching and art.

In 2023, Shandong University of Finance and Economics ranked 14 first in the country and first in Shandong Province.
