Introduction of Tokushima University Scholarship
1. Scholarships for international students at public expense

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology offers two kinds of government scholarships. Please pay attention to different test methods and conditions.

1. recommended by the embassy

Japanese embassies and consulates abroad select candidates through document review, written examination and interview. Then recommend it to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and the provincial capital of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology will select some candidates as scholarship winners. Please consult the nearest Japanese embassy for details.

2. University recommendation

(1) for new international students.

According to the exchange agreement between overseas universities and Tokushima University, outstanding graduate students can be selected as candidates for public scholarships. After Tokushima University recommended candidates to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry finally decided the winner of the scholarship.

(2) For foreign students who have enrolled and studied at their own expense.

Self-funded international students who have achieved excellent results in the last academic year of graduate school or department are recommended to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology after being selected by their universities. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology finally decides the scholarship winner.

Second, self-funded scholarships for international students

1. Payment system of study incentive fee for self-funded international students

This scholarship is awarded to outstanding students who need financial assistance during their studies.

(1) 48,000 yen/month for undergraduates.

(2) Graduate students (master students or doctoral students, distinguished lecturers) 65,000 yen/month.

2. Tokushima University Scholarship

( 1) ? Tokushima University International Research Exchange Fund? Support foreign students who need financial help.

Conditions: Self-funded international students

Amount: 30,000 yen/month

(2) ? If Ruoye will be a scholarship to Tokushima University? It is to support medical students who need financial help.

Conditions: students who study at their own expense in the medical department (except those sent by foreign governments)

Amount: 250,000 yen/time

(3) ? Tokushima University Dental Scholarship? Support dental students who need financial help.

Conditions: Existing students who study dentistry at their own expense (except those dispatched by foreign governments).

Amount: 30,000 yen/month

3. Scholarships provided by non-governmental scholarship organizations

These scholarships are provided by private scholarship organizations to self-funded international students.

There are all kinds of requirements. Please consult your bureau for details after admission.

4. Scholarships provided by local public organizations

These scholarships are provided by local public institutions to self-funded international students. Due to the different application methods, please consult your bureau after you are admitted.
