How to judge the custody of children in divorce?
1, children under two years old: children under two years old generally live with their parents;
2. Children over two years old: minor children over two years old, and both parents request to live with them. Under any of the following circumstances, priority may be given to one of them:
(1) has been sterilized or lost fertility for other reasons;
(2) the child has lived for a long time, and changing the living environment is obviously not conducive to the healthy growth of the child;
3. Children over 10 years old:
(1) If both parents are in dispute about 10, the children's opinions should be considered.
(2)/kloc-Minor children over 0/0 are persons with limited capacity for civil conduct and have certain ability to distinguish right from wrong. Therefore, in divorce cases, when dealing with the question of who the child lives with, the child's personal wishes should be considered.
Legal basis: Article 1085 of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC).
After divorce, if the children are directly raised by one party, the other party shall bear part or all of the support. The amount and duration of the expenses shall be agreed upon by both parties; If the agreement fails, the people's court shall make a judgment.
The agreement or judgment stipulated in the preceding paragraph shall not prevent the children from making reasonable demands to either parent over the original agreement or judgment when necessary.

The payment period of alimony is generally until the child is eighteen.
If the parents are over 16 years old but under 18 years old, and their labor income is their main source of livelihood, and they can maintain the local general living standard, they can stop paying alimony.
