Anniversary Petroleum Institute (formerly Northeast Petroleum Institute) was founded in 196 1, which is a national key institution of higher learning. In 2000, it was affiliated to China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group and Heilongjiang Province. The school is located in the beautiful and rich Songnen Plain, and moved from Anda to Daqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone in 2002. The new campus covers an area of 6.5438+0.52 million square meters, adjacent to Daqing Oilfield. After more than 40 years of development and construction, the college has entered a period of vigorous development. There are 13 secondary teaching departments (departments), including graduate school, higher vocational and technical college and adult education college. Set up 33 undergraduate majors and 12 specialist majors; There are 1 doctoral and master's degrees awarded to first-class disciplines, 3 doctoral degree authorization points and 18 master's degree authorization points; National key disciplines 1, 7 provincial and ministerial key disciplines, 2 provincial and ministerial engineering technology research centers, 3 provincial and ministerial key laboratories and 9 provincial and ministerial research laboratories. More than 7000 students are enrolled each year. At present, there are more than 5000 doctors, masters and junior college students/kloc-0, and more than 4000 correspondence students. Since its establishment, it has trained more than 50,000 graduate students, junior college students and various engineering and technical personnel at all levels.

The Department of Petroleum Exploration was established at the beginning of the establishment of Daqing Petroleum Institute, and it was renamed the College of Earth Sciences in 2002. A total of 3,454 undergraduates were trained, including 65,438 junior college students+065,438+065,438+06, and more than 300 graduate students. At the beginning of the hospital (196 1 ~ 1965), only the specialty of petroleum and natural gas geological exploration was set up, and the enrollment in that year was five years. The professional training direction is petroleum and natural gas geological exploration and oil and gas field development geology. 1966 to 1976 stop the unified examination enrollment. During this period, three three-year oil and gas geological exploration majors, two one-year or one-and-a-half-year oil and gas geological exploration majors and mine geophysical logging majors, one-year tape seismograph training course and one-year gas chromatography analysis training course were enrolled. 1977 resume the college entrance examination and recruit undergraduates majoring in petroleum and natural gas geological exploration. 1979 newly established mine geophysical logging specialty, and enrolled undergraduates that year. 1980 newly established geophysical exploration specialty, enrolled students in the same year. Due to the development of petroleum industry, the above three majors recruit two-year and three-year junior college students from 1983 to 1994. In 2002, the major of detection technology and instrument was assigned to the School of Electrical Information Engineering of Daqing Petroleum Institute. 1998 According to the catalogue of 249 undergraduate majors issued by the Ministry of Education, the specialty of petroleum and natural gas geological exploration was renamed as the specialty of resource exploration engineering, and the specialty of applied geophysics was renamed as the specialty of exploration technology and engineering. In 2000, the major of resources, environment and urban and rural planning and management was newly established, and the undergraduate enrollment was 200 1. Geophysics was newly established in 2002, and undergraduates were enrolled in the same year. Geochemistry was newly established in 2002, and enrollment began in 2003.

3. Postgraduate disciplines and majors

The College of Earth Sciences has three master's programs: mineral survey and exploration (1990), earth exploration and information technology (1990) and mineralogy, petrology and mineral deposit science (2000), which can recruit doctoral students in reservoir geochemistry and reservoir description. Second, the status quo of the construction of teachers

Dr. Lu Shuangfang, doctoral supervisor, distinguished professor. He is an outstanding young and middle-aged expert in Heilongjiang Province, a trans-century academic and technical leader of the Oil and Gas Corporation, and a first-class and second-class candidate of the national "100 million talents project". The winner of China Youth Science and Technology Award, the leader of the provincial key discipline of "Mineral Survey and Exploration", has a high influence and popularity among domestic peers. He has successively undertaken the National Key Basic Planning Research (973) Project 1, six national key projects and three provincial and ministerial projects1. He has published more than 50 papers in China Science and acta petrolei sinica, written and co-edited 7 monographs and 2 textbooks.

Dr. Lu Yanfang, professor and doctoral supervisor, is currently the vice president of Daqing Petroleum Institute. The research direction is natural gas migration, accumulation mechanism and distribution law; Natural gas sealing and preservation conditions; Mechanism of natural gas accumulation and evaluation of trap effectiveness. He has presided over or participated in six national key projects and several department-level projects. He has published more than 30 papers and 3 monographs in Journal of Sedimentology and acta petrolei sinica, and won 2 second prizes for scientific and technological progress at provincial and ministerial levels. It is one of the pioneers in the study of oil and gas preservation conditions in China, and the related research has reached the international advanced and domestic leading level.

In addition, there are two college-level Class A academic leaders, namely:

Professor Fu Guang has been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of oil and gas resources evaluation and the formation and preservation of oil and gas reservoirs for a long time. Participated in more than 20 national, provincial, ministerial and bureau-level scientific research projects. Among them, it won 2 second prizes for scientific and technological progress of the Oil and Gas Corporation, 2 third prizes for scientific and technological progress of the Provincial Science and Technology Commission, and the first, second and third prizes of the Provincial Education Commission 1 item. Professor Ma Shizhong is an excellent teacher of China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group Company. His research interests are reservoir sedimentology and oil and gas field development geology. He has undertaken 2 scientific research projects 1, including 6 national projects1and 6 provincial and ministerial projects, won 2 second prizes for provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress, published 7 papers1in domestic and foreign journals such as Sedimentology Journal, and participated in 4 monographs.

Four college-level class B academic leaders, namely:

Professor Liu Xiaoyan, whose research interests are environmental geochemistry and oil and gas reservoir geochemistry.

Professor Wang Jinqi, whose research interests are oilfield measuring instruments, production logging instruments and methods.

Associate Professor Yuan Zilong, whose research direction is high-resolution seismic data acquisition theory.

Third, personnel training.

1. College students

The resource exploration engineering major enrolls 90 students in 3 classes every year; Exploration technology and engineering majors recruit 2 classes and 60 people every year; Since 200 1, the major of resources, environment and urban and rural planning and management has enrolled 87 students in 3 classes every year. Geophysics has enrolled 57 students from two classes since 2002, and geochemistry has enrolled 60 students from two classes since 2003. One-third of the graduates majoring in resource exploration engineering and exploration technology and engineering get a master's degree every year. Through the two-way choice between graduates and employers, students are mainly engaged in oil and gas field exploration, development and management in major oil fields across the country, and the employment rate of graduates reaches 98% ~ 100%. In 2002, demand exceeded supply. Since its establishment, the scientific and technological talents and management talents trained for the country and the petroleum industry have been well received by the society because of their high comprehensive quality, hard work style and strong foreign language and computer application ability. Most of them have become backbones and experts in petroleum science and technology and petroleum education, and some have taken up important leadership positions at all levels. Representative talents include winners of the National May 1st Labor Medal, senior vice president and deputy general manager of China Oil and Gas Co., Ltd., and general manager of Tuha Oilfield.

2. Current situation of undergraduate compound talents training

The undergraduate teaching plan implements the basic course platform of the whole hospital, and the proportion of basic courses, engineering basic courses and professional courses is 6∶3∶ 1. Students can choose elective courses in the whole hospital according to their own interests, and offer double degrees in computer, business administration, English and minor majors in law and public relations for students to choose from.

The national educational reform project "Research and Practice of International Cooperation in Oil and Gas Resources Exploration and Development" is under study. Its research content is to select some outstanding students from the majors of resource exploration engineering and petroleum engineering, strengthen the cultivation of English and economic and trade, make graduation projects in English, write papers in English, defend in English, and cultivate international cooperation talents who understand and speak English. Those who pass the examination will be awarded a double degree in international economy and trade.

3. Graduate students

The College of Earth Sciences enrolls more than 20 graduate students every year. Some graduates directly enter major oil fields and research institutes in China, some pursue doctoral degrees for further study, and some engage in teaching in colleges and universities.

Fourth, the advantages and characteristics of running a school

In teaching, we insist on quality education and all-round education, forming a unique teaching feature of "one body and two wings" and a teaching management model of "four or three systems". In the national college students' foreign language examination, China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group and Heilongjiang Advanced Mathematics and Computer Examination, our school has been in the forefront of petroleum colleges and universities in the province.

Since 1996, it has successively undertaken and completed the educational reform projects at the level of the Ministry of Education and the head office, namely, "Research and practice on the reform of personnel training scheme and teaching content system for exploration technology and engineering specialty" and "Research and practice on the reform of personnel training scheme and teaching content system for resource exploration engineering specialty", and its research achievements have won the first and second prizes for excellent teaching achievements of China Oil and Gas Corporation respectively. Over the years, successive leaders and all teachers of the College of Earth Sciences have attached great importance to teaching, paid attention to the summary of education and teaching laws, strived to improve the teaching quality, and constantly reformed the curriculum system, teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching means, and successively won the National Excellent Teaching Achievement Award 1, 2 provincial and ministerial excellent teaching achievements first prizes, 8 second prizes and 3 third prizes.

The development of CAI courseware of Applied Geophysical Methods and Principles and Crystal Optics has been approved and completed in the Group Company, and won the first and second prizes of excellent CAI courseware of the Group Company respectively. Seven courses, including Introduction to Earth Science, Sedimentary Rocks and Sedimentary Facies, Petroleum Geology, Tectonic Geology and Principles of Applied Geophysical Methods, have been completed as excellent courses. The question bank of these courses has also been completed.

With the support of oil and gas companies and college leaders, Qinhuangdao Field Geological Practice Base, which combines "Industry-University-Research", has been built, and its teaching and living facilities and field geological observation routes are first-class in China. It can receive 30 classes every year and complete 25 field practice teaching contents. Every year, in addition to completing the internship task of our school, we also accept the internship of students from brother colleges. With the support of Daqing Oilfield, Daqing has built four designated oilfield production practice bases, which can complete 15 oilfield production teaching practice content, and both teaching content and living facilities are among the best in China.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) discipline construction

Mineral survey and exploration is the main discipline that Daqing Petroleum Institute (formerly "Petroleum and Natural Gas Geology") has been cultivating since its establishment, and it has been growing with the development of China's petroleum industry. Daqing Petroleum Institute was placed under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province and was established as a key construction discipline in Heilongjiang Province. Outstanding achievements have been made in discipline construction.

Six, laboratory construction

The laboratory area of the college is 29 1.9m 2, and there are 672 pieces of instruments and equipment, with a value of 1.654.38+0.806 million yuan, which can meet the needs of teaching and scientific research. There are the Heilongjiang Provincial Key Laboratory of "Formation Mechanism and Resource Evaluation of Oil and Gas Reservoirs" and the China Oil and Gas Group Key Laboratory of "Natural Gas Preservation Conditions".

In the whole teaching activity, experimental teaching and practical teaching always run through it. In addition to all the experiments in the teaching plan, the laboratory also offered 13 experiments for courses such as introduction to earth science and crystal optics. Under the guidance of teachers, students can combine themselves and cultivate their innovative ability.

Most important analytical instruments in the laboratory-surface adsorption instrument, mercury porosimeter, mercury porosimeter, fluorescence microscope, polarizing microscope, particle size analyzer, network analyzer, gas chromatograph, liquid analyzer, hydrocarbon analyzer, image analyzer, organic element analyzer, source rock analyzer, Fourier infrared spectrometer, multimedia projector, ultraviolet detector, air compressor four-column pressure tester, ultrasonic crusher, interface tensiometer, etc. Driven by scientific research projects and funded by scientific research funds, it runs well, providing basic guarantee for the smooth completion of national key projects, "973", national natural fund, provincial and ministerial key projects, funds and horizontal cooperation projects undertaken by our institute.

Applied Geophysics Laboratory is an excellent laboratory in colleges and universities in Heilongjiang Province, which can complete 53 teaching experiments and scientific research tasks such as spontaneous potential, resistivity, radioactivity and acoustic wave measurement.

In scientific research, it is very important to design various experimental equipment and devices according to the needs of the subject, such as the simulation device of hydrocarbon accumulation mechanism of lithologic traps. At the same time, experimental instruments and equipment also provide a large number of analysis and testing services for Daqing Oilfield, Petroleum University, China Geo University, Beijing Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute, Langfang Branch of Beijing Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute, Tarim Oilfield Branch, Dagang Oilfield and other units.

General situation of scientific research since the ninth five-year plan

Since the Ninth Five-Year Plan, it has undertaken 15 national key projects, 45 provincial and ministerial projects and more than 100 bureau-level and cooperative projects. The average annual research funding is about 8 million yuan. Won the second prize 1 item of National Natural Science Award, 4 first prizes at provincial and ministerial level, 9 second prizes and 3 third prizes 12. At present, it has formed advantages and characteristics in reservoir geochemistry, basin analysis, resource evaluation, natural gas geology, oil and gas exploration geophysics, reservoir geology, reservoir description and so on. Published 787 papers, including 3 1 international journals and 93 domestic journals. Published 50 academic monographs and 30 teaching materials.

Eight. International cooperation and exchange

Carry out extensive international cooperation and exchanges. Since the early 1980s, nearly 58 teachers and students from the School of Earth Sciences have successively gone to the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, Russia, Norway, South Korea, Japan and other countries to study for degrees, carry out scientific research exchanges and cooperation, or attend international academic conferences. Foreign experts and scholars come to visit and give lectures every year.
