Interim provisions on the teaching of the second bachelor's degree
According to the second paragraph of Article 11 of Fudan University's Regulations on the Management of Undergraduate Student Status (Trial), students should apply for a second major while taking professional courses. In order to fully reflect the advantages of the credit system, give undergraduates more choices and development opportunities, and speed up the cultivation of compound talents, the Academic Affairs Office decided to try out the teaching and training scheme of "second major" and "second bachelor's degree" for undergraduates. These Interim Provisions are formulated.
First, the curriculum
In principle, the teaching and training requirements of the second major and the second bachelor's degree in Fudan University are the same as those of the existing undergraduate majors and majors, so as to ensure the unification of teaching and training quality standards.
According to the course structure, name, code, academic performance and class hours of the same undergraduate major, each department determines that about 40 credits will be the second professional course of Fudan University, and about 60 credits will be the second bachelor's degree course of Fudan University (mainly specialized courses, supplemented by basic courses). The new curriculum should be incorporated into the professional curriculum and course selection management system.
Second, the course and course selection
In order to deal with the relationship between teaching resources and the needs of second major students, majors and curriculum arrangements, the basic principles and procedures of second major curriculum organization are:
(1) In order to ensure the needs and interests of all students in specialized courses, the organization of the second specialized course does not occupy the specialized course starting plan in principle. To this end, the school will make full use of teaching resources, specially arrange classrooms and time for the second professional course, and avoid conflicts with professional courses as much as possible.
(2) Departments should give full play to the role of teachers and teaching conditions, and organize separate classes for students with second majors and second bachelor's degrees. At least 10 is required for the number of students who start classes alone, and majors with less than 10 can be merged with the first professional course.
(3) Fudan University's second major and second bachelor's degree courses have been compiled with special course codes (the second major has separate codes in separate classes or combined classes). Students choose courses according to the code of the second major and the training plan of the second bachelor's degree, and pay by credit.
(4) For various reasons, the school can't guarantee to fully meet the choice needs of all students at present. When starting classes alone, some second majors and second bachelor's degrees have too many applicants, which may be beyond the capacity of classrooms, teachers and teaching conditions; The training plan, elective courses and class time of some students may also conflict with the placement, and the department will choose the number of students according to the tolerance of teaching conditions. In addition, some second majors have a small number of applicants, which affects the full use of teaching resources and is not suitable for starting classes alone. Students should be fully prepared for the above possible course selection results when registering.
Third, student status management.
The study of the second major and the second bachelor's degree in Fudan University belongs to the teaching activities within the prescribed scope. In addition to the contents clearly stipulated in these rules, during the period of studying for the second major and the second bachelor's degree, the student status management and learning discipline shall be implemented in accordance with the Regulations on the Management of Undergraduate Student Status of Fudan University (for Trial Implementation) and other relevant regulations.
1, register
All undergraduates registered in grades 20 12 and 20 1 1 of Fudan University can apply for the second major and the second bachelor's degree course. After approval and registration fee, you can get the qualification to study. (Only one major can be filled in)
When applying for registration, students should ensure their academic performance in professional courses, accurately grasp their own needs, fully understand the teaching and training of Fudan University's second major and second bachelor's degree, and compare them with their own professional courses.
2. Records of grades and credits
Students should complete the total credits of the major, the second major and the second bachelor's degree according to the regulations, and make achievements through course selection and examination.
(1) Before enrolling in the second major and the second bachelor's degree, students who have studied the same professional courses as the second bachelor's degree and the second professional courses (with the same name and students' scores) can apply after formally studying the second major, and the scores and credits of the professional courses can be recognized after being approved by the department, and recorded on the transcripts of the second major. Without the approval of the examination and approval, the course scores between the major and the second major cannot be mutually recognized.
(2) conversion of credits for specialized courses The credits for the second major and the second bachelor's degree shall not exceed 8 credits at most. After studying for the second bachelor's degree or the second major for one year, the credit conversion time shall be handled according to the requirements of the Academic Affairs Office, and an application shall be made in the "grade conversion" column of the urp academic management system. (3) After students begin to study the second bachelor's degree and the second major, they study the courses with the same name as the second major and the second bachelor's degree, so it is impossible to record the second bachelor's degree and the second major. (4) The credits and grades of the second major and the second bachelor's degree courses taken by students cannot be recognized and recorded as elective credits of professional courses.
3. Establish a tutorial system management system.
The departments that offer the second professional course separately should establish a tutorial system to be responsible for the daily teaching management and course selection guidance of the second professional course.
4. Years of study
In principle, the school encourages students to complete the second major and second bachelor's degree courses within the standard academic system. If students have not completed the course at the time of graduation, they can continue to register as advanced students in a single subject within two years after graduation until they complete the required courses and credits. According to the regulations, the school is not responsible for the accommodation, medical care and personnel management of advanced students.
5. Certificate application
Students who have not obtained the graduation qualification of undergraduate major cannot obtain the second major, second bachelor's degree certificate or minor certificate of Fudan University, and the school only provides the proof of the results of the relevant courses they have taken.
Students who have completed the prescribed course of the second bachelor's degree in the second major of Fudan University and passed the examination can apply for a certificate. The Academic Affairs Office organizes relevant departments to examine the qualifications of applicants according to the Regulations on the Management of Undergraduate Student Status of Fudan University (Trial) and other relevant regulations of the school. Students who pass the qualification examination can obtain the second professional certificate of Fudan University printed and issued by Fudan University. Students who have completed the "second bachelor's degree" teaching plan and completed the second bachelor's degree thesis can be awarded the "second bachelor's degree certificate of Fudan University".
Students who have not completed all the courses required by the second major or the second bachelor's degree, but have completed the main professional courses for more than 30 credits (including 30 credits), may apply for a minor certificate.
Four. procedure
All departments should organize the teaching of second majors and second bachelor's degrees according to the prescribed procedures. Students can apply for related courses according to the procedures.
In late April of 20 13, the Academic Affairs Office announced to students: Notice on Trial Teaching of the Second Major and the Second Bachelor's Degree among Undergraduates, Interim Provisions of Fudan University on Trial Teaching of the Second Major among Undergraduates, Teaching Training Plan for the Second Major and Training Plan for the Second Bachelor's Degree.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 7, 20 13, I went to consult the departments offering the second major and the second bachelor's degree.
From 8: 00 on May 8th to 3: 00 on May 3rd 19: 00, students applied for registration in the column of "Fudan University Second Major, Fudan University Second Bachelor's Degree" in the urp educational administration system of Fudan University campus network.

From May 4, 2004 to May 7, 2007, the Department examined students' applications for the second major and the second bachelor's degree, and submitted the list of students admitted to the Academic Affairs Office from the urp website.
Before may 2 1, the academic affairs office will publish the admission list of students with second bachelor's degree in the second major in each department after examination.
Students who enrolled before the end of this semester 18 weeks and 19 weeks can choose courses online.
The teaching of the second major and the second bachelor's degree belongs to the new and minor teaching work outside the planned teaching task. Students can choose to participate according to their own conditions, but schools must increase investment. According to the financial regulations, the tuition fees for the second major and the second bachelor's degree are calculated as per credit 130 yuan with reference to the tuition fees per credit set by the state. It is divided into semester payment, and students pay the corresponding tuition fees according to their academic performance in each semester.
According to point 2 of Article 3, courses before the second degree and the second major, and courses that have been converted (within 8 credits) are free of charge. If students cannot complete the course for their own reasons, the school will not refund the tuition.
