First, the school profile
1, Donghua Institute of Technology, referred to as "Donghua Institute of Technology", whose main campus is located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, is the first institution of higher learning in China's nuclear industry. It is a national defense education school with geoscience and nuclear science characteristics founded by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, Ministry of Natural Resources and China National Nuclear Corporation. It is also the selection and training base of China People's Navy NCO and the talent training base of China National Nuclear Corporation.
2. The school was formerly known as Taigu Geology School, which was founded in 1956. 1958 moved to Taiyuan and changed its name to Taiyuan Institute of Geology; 1959 moved to Fuzhou city, Jiangxi province; 1982 was renamed East China Institute of Geology; In 2002, it was renamed Donghua Institute of Technology; In 2002 and 2003, Jiangxi National Defense Science and Technology Industry School and Fuzhou Teachers College merged successively. In 2007, it was renamed Donghua Institute of Technology. By the end of 2022, the school had two campuses, Nanchang and Fuzhou.
