1, Inner Mongolia University

Inner Mongolia University (IMU), located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, is a national key university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Inner Mongolia People's Government. It is a national "double first-class" construction university, a national "2 1 1 project" construction university, and a first-class university construction support university in Inner Mongolia.

2. Inner Mongolia Agricultural University

Inner Mongolia Agricultural University (IMAU) is located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is a full-time college founded by the former State Forestry Administration and the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is the first "Lei Feng University" in China.

3. Inner Mongolia Normal University

Inner Mongolia Normal University, referred to as "Inner Mongolia Normal University", is located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is an ordinary institution of higher learning organized by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is the earliest institution of higher learning established by the party and the state in the frontier minority areas after the founding of the People's Republic of China, and it is also a key university in the autonomous region.

4. Inner Mongolia Medical University

Inner Mongolia Medical University is located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is a university approved by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the National Health and Wellness Commission of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education. It is also a pilot university of "Excellent Doctoral Education and Training Program" and an engineering university of basic capacity building in central and western universities.
