The manuscripts of Song Dynasty are one of the three treasures of Song Dynasty.
School-based Collection of Song and Yao Dynasties is one of the largest and highest quality works in existence. It is a classified compilation of various historical materials of the Song Dynasty, including political, military, economic, institutional, ritual, music, education, elections, science and technology and other historical and cultural information, by Vae, a scholar in the Qing Dynasty, from the official training "Hui" of the Song Dynasty included in Yongle Dadian. Shu Dagang, director of the Institute of Ancient Books Arrangement of Sichuan University, said that the History of the Song Dynasty, the History of the Song Dynasty and the Long Compilation of the History of the Song Dynasty constitute the three major information treasures of the Song Dynasty. The Manuscripts of Song History is rich in content and huge in quantity, but because of its many mistakes, researchers of Song history love and hate it.
In the mid-1980s, the main domestic researchers of Song History headed by Mr. Wang Yunhai had planned to sort out Selected Works of Song History, and even printed a sorting plan and sample draft, but failed to launch it.
At the beginning of this century, the Institute of Ancient Books Arrangement of Sichuan University cooperated with Harvard University and the Institute of History and Linguistics of Academia Sinica of Taiwan Province Province to preliminarily proofread the Collection of Song Yaohui, and formed an electronic version of the Collection of Song Yaohui. Later, under the impetus of the "Ba Shu Quan Shu" project, a proofreading version of14 million words was formed.
Three benchmarks have been set for proofreading books.
Liu ling, a professor at the Institute of Ancient Books Arrangement of Sichuan University, said that this school paid special attention to four aspects. First, correct the year, month and day mistakes. In the process of compiling and copying, the disorder of year, month and day is extremely serious. Experts regard correcting the mistakes of the year, month and day as one of the key points of collation. The Book of * * * has corrected more than 2,800 mistakes of the year and day. Second, identify non-conference articles. Experts distinguish it by the expression of date, the genre and style of notes, the time and region of recording, and other traces of copying other books. Third, correct mistakes and simplify the complex. Experts found 59 mistakes and simplified words, including 10 words in some places, more than 3,000 words, totaling more than 30,000 words. Fourth, correct the wrong route. There are three main mistakes in Song Yao Hui Manuscript: improper division, mixed articles and notes, and confusing titles.
Chen Zuwu, a member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and former director of the Institute of History of China Academy of Social Sciences, believes that the collation and publication of collating manuscripts in the Song Dynasty set three benchmarks. First, the experts who participated in the compilation of School-based Collection of Song Yao Collection were rigorous and meticulous, which set a benchmark for the collation and publication of ancient books. Secondly, the participating experts not only engaged in textual collation, but also conducted a lot of research and combing, which set a benchmark for the study of Song history, especially the study of Song laws and regulations. Third, the completion of the proofreading of Song edition will set a benchmark for how to carry out major projects funded by the state and how to create fine works.
