Hainan medical college

65438-0993 Hainan Medical College was formally established with the approval of the national education administrative department and under the supervision of Hainan Provincial People's Government. At present, it is the first batch of two universities, the first batch of undergraduate colleges with comprehensive professional reform and the first batch of educational informatization pilot units in China.

Qiongtai Teachers College is a full-time general secondary university in Hainan Province. In 2004, the two universities merged to establish Qiongtai Teachers College, and in March 20 16, Qiongtai Teachers College was formally established.

Hainan Tropical Ocean University is a full-time public undergraduate provincial university jointly established by Hainan Provincial People's Government, State Oceanic Administration, China Offshore Oil Corporation, Sanya City and Sansha City. It is one of the top ten "educational foreign aid bases" of the Ministry of Education.

It is a pilot unit of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee's "Training Program for Talents with Special Needs" and a Chinese member institution of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization University (cooperation direction: regional studies, ecology).

The school's predecessor was Hainan Li and Miao Autonomous Region Normal School founded by 1954 in Guangdong Province and Hainan Li and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Normal College founded by 1958.

After several branches, adjustments and renaming, Qiongzhou College was established on 1993. In 2006, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Qiongzhou College. Last September, it was renamed Hainan Tropical Ocean College.
