Is Jilin University really rubbish?
Objectively speaking, it's not rubbish, just not good enough. After all, it is the best university in Changchun, and all kinds of experts and scholars have so many years of human and financial resources.

But why do people in the Jianghu say that Jida is rubbish? There are many reasons.

First of all, everyone has a plot of black alma mater. It is not good to say black when you enter Kyrgyzstan, but it is not a taste to listen to others in society. His alma mater is such an existence that he despises it, even when others are dark.

Second, Jida is a merged school. At that time, it became the top ten in the country through the merger of major campuses, and later fell to the top twenty. I don't know in the past two years, which has made many international students criticize and feel cheated.

Third, the environment of the non-main campus (the south campus is the main campus) is poor. Also known as Jida, why does the main campus look big and new, and individual campuses look old and broken? There is a psychological gap, which makes individual college students feel cheated.

Fourth, graduates are not gathered in other parts of the country except Changchun, so they can't play the role of uniting against the challenges of foreign social competition. When going out to work, few seniors lead the way, and few schoolmates help with odd jobs. Very tired.

Fifth, the high employment rate of graduates may damage their reputation in the talent market in other provinces. Because of the mixed fish and dragons, some employers are not particularly optimistic about Jida because they meet some students with mixed diplomas. In fact, during my time (20 10), the employers generally had a good reputation for Jida University, and they thought that the graduates of Jida University were solid and willing to work, and they learned and grew rapidly. A few years later, I heard some negative comments from employers, and this kind of gossip quickly spread.

Sixth, my dormitory was old, Changchun was very cold in winter, and the school canteen was old. If someone lives in the university town, it is relatively inconvenient to go to campus by bike, especially bicycles are easy to be stolen. At that time, bicycle theft happened almost every day. These environmental problems combine to complain that the environment in Kyrgyzstan is really poor. But my dormitory was renovated after graduation, and now a new building has been built. There is also a shopping mall in the school, and everyone can take a scooter back to the dormitory. In short, the environment is better than I was then, but there must be complaints.

Seventh, individual logistics personnel have a bad attitude towards students. At least at that time, I met a skater who was in charge of winter skating. Because the skates I returned were one big and one small, he said that I lost one (I'm not sure if it was one big and one small when he gave it to me, and it's hard to say whether the size of the skates was a size difference, especially since the tightness of the skates was originally adjustable), and then he withheld my student ID card and refused to return it to me. I had to ask the PE teacher to explain the situation. The PE teacher is very good. It's okay to call the logistics after education, but the logistics still swore when he returned my student ID card, as if all the students owed him money. Very evil. When a bird is big, it is inevitable that there will be all kinds of Woods.

What is good about Jida?

First of all, there are indeed many foreign students, people from all over the country, such as Yunnan, Suzhou, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Hubei, Guangzhou and so on. These people enrich your knowledge and let you know how different this country is. Many other colleges and universities do not have such classmate resources.

Secondly, my teacher at that time not only gave lectures, but also talked about life, social experience and even fell in love with my classmates, which really helped me a lot.

Third, the South Campus Library is really big. Many graduates regret not making good use of the library, but the library is really good.

Fourth, individual departments have good exchange students and research places. If the study is good enough or the relationship is hard enough, it is really a good opportunity and the future employment is much better.

Fifth, there are many public elective courses, which are comprehensive. Choosing a good public elective course can also improve its own value. Physical education class's elective content is also very rich.
