The Academy of Fine Arts of Jiangsu Normal University, whose predecessor was the fine arts major founded in 1950s, now has three undergraduate majors, namely, fine arts, art design and painting, and five major directions, namely, Chinese painting, oil painting, calligraphy, art design and art education, and has the right to award master's degrees in fine arts and art design.
