The master's degree system in Britain can be divided into three types:

Master's degree: Master of Arts, Master of Arts, Master of Medicine and Master of Science.
Postgraduate research master's degrees (common degrees are: MRes, MARes, MScRes, MPhil) usually last for two years, and are mainly designed for students who have obtained undergraduate degrees and want to continue their studies in scientific research.
After the master's degree in higher education (such as MA, MS, MEd and MSC), there are three postgraduate master's classes, namely "excellent", "good" and "passing".
