Why can't Shenzhen surpass Guangzhou no matter how hard it tries?
For China, a developing country, the most important thing is the economy of each city. The better a city develops, the richer its people will be, which means that it will bring greater economic benefits to the country. At present, there are always four first-tier cities in our country: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, among which Guangzhou and Shenzhen, both in Guangdong, are the most controversial.

Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong province, also known as Yangcheng. Guangzhou is located in the lower reaches of the Pearl River, with an area of 7434 square kilometers and a population of nearly15.3 million. Guangzhou is the first batch of national historical and cultural cities, the birthplace of Guangfu culture, and also a big city rated as a first-tier city in the world by GaWC.

Shenzhen is a sub-provincial city in Guangzhou and one of the few special economic zones in China. As a special economic zone, Shenzhen is proud of its development. In just a few decades, it has developed from a small fishing village to a world city. Besides being a window to the world, Shenzhen is also called the Silicon Valley of China.

As one of the four first-tier cities, Shenzhen's GDP in 19 has reached 2.69 trillion, far exceeding Guangzhou's 300 billion, second only to Shanghai and Beijing. From this data, we can know that the development of Shenzhen is better than that of Guangzhou, but why can't Shenzhen surpass Guangzhou no matter how hard it tries?

To surpass it, we need not only good economic development, but also excellent comprehensive strength in all aspects to surpass it. In fact, apart from the economy, there is basically nothing better than Guangzhou in Shenzhen.

First of all, Shenzhen is actually a city with little history. Like the United States, the oldest buildings in the United States are probably those built in the last century. There are no locals in Shenzhen itself, not to mention the culture, but Guangzhou is different. As early as 1000 years ago, Guangzhou was already the largest port in China, and it was the only port in the world that lasted for more than 2000 years. In this respect, Shenzhen is incomparable.

The second is traffic. Guangdong is the transportation hub of our country and plays a decisive role in the whole province. There are several bus stops in high-speed railway station and the province that can lead to all parts of the province. Guangzhou Baiyun Airport is still one of the three major international aviation hub airports in Chinese mainland, and Shenzhen is not as good as Guangzhou in this respect.

The third is education. There are basically only a handful of colleges and universities in Shenzhen, only a few, but Guangzhou is different. There are 82 colleges and universities in Guangzhou with more than 6.5438+0 million students, ranking first in the country. The number of 985,265.438+065.438+0 in the province is much higher than that in Shenzhen, which is incomparable to Shenzhen.

Guangzhou is much better than Shenzhen in history, transportation and education. In fact, it is not that Guangzhou cannot develop, but that Guangzhou is brewing. Once Nansha and Pazhou under construction are developed, the gap between Guangzhou and Shenzhen may become more obvious.
