After the founding of New China, with the construction of Sanjiangkou Port Area year by year, ports, foreign trade, commerce, warehousing, post and telecommunications, frontier defense and other departments have also developed accordingly, making this port a small town similar to a rural market. After the construction of Hanjiang River 1984, the Hanshan Highway from Sanjiangkou to Hanjiang River was extended to a national second-class highway, and Sanjiangkou Port became a transit port in Meizhou Bay. 1985, Sanjiangkou port area was built 1000 kv high voltage power line and water diversion project. Then, two 500-ton cargo terminals, 1 300-ton passenger terminal and 1 strip 1 meter-long expressway will be built. After the town was built in Sanjiangkou 1993, the government implemented the Urban Planning Law and the Interim Provisions on the Administration of Urban Planning and Construction in Fujian Province, and successively completed the compilation of urban construction plans and gradually implemented them. In the same year, it invested 6.5438+0.65 million yuan to build a new town government office building with a construction area of 4,200 square meters. At the same time, 6.5438+0.65 million yuan was allocated to build the teaching building of Sanjiangkou Middle School, with a construction area of 2,800 square meters and a newly-built primary school building area of 6.5438+0.56 million square meters. From 1994, there are 12 private enterprises in Sanjiangkou Town. Xinpu Farmers' Market and Duotou Farmers' Market, which have been built by raising funds, have been completed and put into operation, with a total market area of 600 square meters. In the same year, the office buildings of public security, industry and commerce administration, taxation, finance, commerce, education, culture, health and other institutions were completed, with a total construction area of 2,050 square meters. The six-story Customs Commodity Inspection Building has been completed, with a total area of 4,200 square meters.
