Correspondence undergraduate course has two forms: advanced undergraduate course and junior college course. Correspondence undergraduate examination subjects are politics, English and educational theory. The examination subjects in the first year of primary education are Chinese, mathematics (literature), English and historical geography.

Correspondence is a learning form of adult higher education and belongs to a learning level of higher education. Teachers are mainly sent to correspondence stations around the country to organize face-to-face lectures and examinations in winter and summer vacations or legal holidays according to the teaching plans of various majors. Other forms of adult higher education include part-time study (evening university) and full-time study (full-time).
