Hainan Wanhe Information Vocational and Technical College is an ordinary full-time higher vocational college approved by Hainan Provincial People's Government and established by the Ministry of Education in May 2004. In July 2008, Hainan Cyber Music Education Group Co., Ltd. (the investor and manager of Haikou University of Economics) joined Wanhe College with 97% shares, becoming its new investor and manager, and comprehensively reorganizing Wanhe College. The headquarters of Xinwanhe College set up the current site of Haijing College, and enrollment began on 20 10. In March 2009, Hainan Provincial People's Government approved the college to be renamed Hainan Vocational College of Industry and Commerce, and the filing work of the Ministry of Education is in progress. Xinwanhe College is located in the middle section of Guoxing Avenue with beautiful tropical scenery and in the political and cultural center of Hainan Province. The campus covers an area of more than 550 mu with a building area of more than 400,000 square meters.
