Villagers' committees, residents' committees and families should closely cooperate with schools and strengthen education on patriotism, socialism, moral quality, law-abiding and civilized behavior for students.
News organizations should make full use of television, radio, newspapers and other news media, strengthen publicity and education for students, and conduct correct public opinion guidance. Article 8 Schools should promote the use of Putonghua and standardize the use of Chinese characters. Article 9 Children who have reached the age of six, regardless of sex, nationality or race, must attend school and complete nine-year compulsory education in accordance with regulations. In areas where conditions are not met, enrollment can be postponed until the age of seven.
School-age children and adolescents need to be postponed or exempted from school due to illness or special circumstances, and their parents or other guardians shall apply for approval by the education authorities at or above the county level or the township people's government; If you apply for extension or exemption of admission due to illness, you should attach a certificate from a medical institution designated by the education department at or above the county level. Article 10 Parents or other guardians of school-age children and adolescents have the obligation to make their children or ward complete nine-year compulsory education.

In violation of the provisions of the first paragraph of this article, the local people's government shall give criticism and education, and order them to fulfill their nine-year compulsory education obligations according to law; Those who fail to perform after education may be fined between 200 yuan and 2000 yuan, and measures shall be taken to send their children or ward to school.
In violation of the provisions of the second paragraph of this article, the labor department shall order it to return and impose a fine; Those who refuse to retire shall be ordered by the administrative department for industry and commerce to suspend business for rectification until their business licenses are revoked. Schools shall not refuse to accept school-age children and adolescents who should receive nine-year compulsory education.
