What kind of model should the ideal education system be?
The purpose of education is to make a person who knows nothing from birth adapt to the current social development and promote social development to a certain extent.

From this point of view, I think the ideal education should be like this, first; Everyone can participate in it. In China society before the Republic of China, most people had no chance to receive education, because most of them were farmers and manual workers, and farmers could do their jobs well without participating in education. Compared with participating in education, the value of labor is higher. Although this low participation education has adapted to that social form, it has hindered the development of scientific and technological productivity. Song's Heavenly Creations is a summary of handicraft production experience, but it has not been popularized. The low level of education is an important reason.

Second; The content of education should be guided by social needs and exceed social needs appropriately. Since the purpose of education is to adapt to the talents who promote social development, the content of education must be oriented to social needs, and what kind of talents the society needs, education should cultivate. However, education should also appropriately exceed the needs of society, so that educated talents can lead social development instead of being forced by social development.

Third; Education should be fair. If we find a newborn child from the last primitive tribe in the society 3000 years ago or now, we should take him and the children in today's society to participate in the present education. Not surprisingly, there should be little difference, because there is no essential difference in brain capacity, and later education is the key. A fair educational environment can make society more dynamic. Some time ago, the teaching courses of Chengdu No.7 Middle School were broadcast live to some schools with backward educational resources. The students in these backward schools later made great progress, all of which benefited from this fair educational environment.

Fourth; Education should pay attention to efficiency, although education is very important, but many times education is a long-term investment, and the effect is slow. The marginal cost of education investment is decreasing, and many parents spend huge tuition fees to help their children make up lessons, which has not played a very good role. Many countries do not popularize higher education, such as China, which only popularizes nine-year compulsory education. There are objective factors in this regard.

These are my views on education in an ideal state. Of course, more attention should be paid to the general aspects and details. At present, there is little gap between education and ideal education, but many areas are different, and the gap is different.

The specific manifestations are as follows: First, participation. In the nine-year compulsory education, the enrollment rate in China is quite high, but in the national non-compulsory preschool education and higher education, the performance is poor. At present, kindergarten tuition is more expensive than university tuition, and the university enrollment rate is much lower than that of developed countries. Moreover, even in the compulsory education stage, there are great differences between regions. Many children in rural areas cannot complete compulsory education, and cities are much better in this respect. In short, the whole is good, but the problem is not small.

Second, there are still many ways to go in terms of social demand orientation. Our compulsory education stage does not involve specific vocational and technical training at all, but basic scientific knowledge. Of course, children at this stage are not suitable for learning vocational and technical skills. In high school, there are vocational high schools with the purpose of vocational and technical training, but only a small part of them, and few people participate. In the university stage, the situation is slightly better, but there are also many mismatches, especially in the liberal arts major of public undergraduate colleges. Due to administrative factors, the knowledge learned is far from the market demand. This adjustment is a long-term process. After all, the social changes in China are too drastic, and this phenomenon will also exist.

Third, educational equity, which is the worst aspect at present, has been neglected in some areas for short-term benefits, and this unfairness has been aggravated by bundling high-quality educational resources with real estate. In the long run, this is undoubtedly to quench thirst by drinking poison. The combination of urban education and real estate, the loss of rural population and the weak dispersion of educational resources are all important factors affecting educational equity. The online education mentioned above is a good way out, and sharing high-quality educational resources through online platforms may break this imbalance.

Fourth, the efficiency of education. Compared with other countries, the level of basic education in China is still relatively high. At the same time, the knowledge base of middle school students in China exceeds that of most countries, but the level of higher education in China is still far behind that of developed countries due to loose university education and other factors. For a long time, the motivation of our primary and secondary education comes from external pressure, while university education is relatively inefficient because there is no external pressure. There are also regional differences in basic education. It is also common for many rural schools and primary schools to have only a few children left. In this era of great social change, education is also in the process of difficult transformation and upgrading.

The above is a rough exposition of my views from a big perspective. Personally, our great educator Confucius mentioned such a concept thousands of years ago. As for the future, I think the ideal education is what everyone wants to learn. As long as he needs it, he can find corresponding educational resources, and the cost of such resources should be borne by society. Everyone can become an expert on the one hand by their own interests and efforts. The essence of education is the transmission of knowledge. If we can achieve the purpose of knowledge transmission and value-added, it is an ideal education.
