1. Guidance function
Once the educational purpose is established, it becomes a guide for people's actions, which not only points out the development direction and predetermined development results for the educated, but also points out the work direction and goal for the educators.
We don't talk about the educational goals of the country, only the teaching goals of teachers. When I was explaining the classical Chinese novel Peach Blossom Spring, I set several goals: (1) understanding the content of the article (2) accumulating classical Chinese words (3) reciting and memorizing the text, etc. The setting of these teaching purposes can play a good guiding role. Teachers know what they want to talk about and students know what they want to learn. "Target teaching" is to make full use of the guiding role of educational purposes. From a certain point of view, the purpose of education is a lighthouse on the sea, and teachers take students from the sea to the lighthouse.
When I first started teaching, I felt that the classroom teaching objectives were empty and useless. This wrong understanding led me to talk about things that have nothing to do with Chinese class frequently in my first year of work, which was very unprofessional. The current teaching is simply the other extreme. I hardly explain anything beyond my teaching objectives, thus ensuring the efficiency of classroom teaching.
Step 2: Choose a role
The purpose of education stipulates "what kind of person to cultivate", so educators will choose the content and method of education according to this standard.
The state trains "socialist builders and successors with all-round development in morality, intelligence and physique", so there will be class meetings and physical education class and culture classes in our school. Because our teaching purpose has been determined, we began to choose the content and form of education according to this purpose.
On the second day of the first grade, I expect students to learn, have methods and form habits. This idea made me spend a long time doing habit-forming experiments. Students have summarized a large number of reciting methods through reciting forms and developed a large number of modular note-taking methods, and these methods are still in the process of upgrading iteration. They spend a lot of time understanding how they form habits. If there is no educational purpose, I will not choose such educational content and form on my own.
3. Regulatory role
The purpose of education is an important means for society to regulate and control educational activities according to its own or human development needs and to achieve its own development goals.
Our textbooks are constantly changing versions, which in itself can explain the adjustment of educational purposes to educational activities. I studied the version of windows2000 when I was at school, and now the university should change to the version of 20 16.
I studied psychology in college. The teacher is very emotional: these things I am teaching you now can be used in exams, but not in life. Teachers try their best to make all students learn practical skills!

4. Motivation
The purpose of education is result-oriented. Since human activities are purposeful, conscious and planned, they should also have clear directions and goals.
This is easier to understand. Students hand in their Chinese homework and write according to the teacher's requirements, and then they will get a small red flower. Students who do well in the exam may get a certificate of "three good students". If a student takes the college entrance examination and gets excellent grades, he can go to a good university for further study.
The incentive function of education is embodied in this way, so the admission notice of a good university is also a medal of honor.
Step 5 evaluate roles
The purpose of education is the fundamental basis and standard to measure and evaluate the effect of education implementation. Evaluating the direction, level and benefit of running a school, checking the quality of education and teaching, evaluating the teaching quality and work effect of teachers, and checking the learning quality and development degree of students must take the educational purpose as the fundamental standard and basis.
The education department evaluates teachers and teachers evaluate students. We are all evaluating others, but our evaluation always has some basis, which is the purpose of education.
Those who can achieve the educational goals are excellent, while those who can't reach the educational goals are ordinary. This evaluation is hierarchical.
