There are 283 prefecture-level cities, 17 regions, 30 autonomous prefectures and 3 leagues in the municipal district. There are 852 municipal districts, 374 county-level cities, 1464 counties, 1 17 autonomous counties, 49 flags, 3 autonomous flags, 2 special zones and 1 forest areas, with a total of 2862 county-level districts.
