Reflections on how to effectively improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching
Improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching is the eternal theme of school education. The so-called classroom teaching effectiveness: that is, in the 45-minute classroom teaching, did the students learn anything, or did they learn well. To improve the effectiveness of English classroom teaching, we must follow the basic design concept of the new curriculum standard. Teachers should gradually explore and formulate the most effective methods that are most suitable for themselves and students according to their own characteristics and specialties, combined with the cognitive level and study habits of the students they teach.

The effectiveness of keyword teaching; Teaching benefit; Strategies and methods

Improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching has become a theme strongly advocated in recent years. The so-called classroom teaching effectiveness: that is, in the 45-minute classroom teaching, students can master the relevant knowledge of this class as much as possible, so as to truly implement the teaching objectives set in the curriculum standards. When it comes to how to improve the effect, I think one sentence is very appropriate: there is no best, only the most suitable. In other words, every teacher can gradually explore and work out the most effective methods that are most suitable for himself and his students according to his own characteristics and specialties, combined with the cognitive level and study habits of his students. Moreover, it is the best policy to avoid being static and use the content of each course flexibly. As Xue Ji said, teachers should see the gap between students according to the difficulty they feel when studying, and then use various ways to inspire and induce students according to different situations. Only by using various ways to inspire and induce can they become good teachers.

Here, I would like to introduce my own practice in this regard:

First, the content of teaching materials

1, understand the curriculum standards and prepare lessons carefully.

Read through the contents of the textbook before class, understand the curriculum standards required by the teaching content, and set the teaching objectives according to the actual situation of students. According to the requirements of teaching objectives and students' situation, the teaching materials should be appropriately integrated and deleted, and the methods of autonomy, cooperation and inquiry should be fully used to give students a lively classroom, which is conducive to the transformation from "asking me to learn" to "I want to learn". In the process of preparing lessons, we should give full play to the wisdom of the lesson preparation team, concentrate collective advantages and teach students in accordance with their aptitude.

Step 2 prepare students

Students are the main body of teaching activities, and it is very important to "teach students in accordance with their aptitude". Therefore, in the process of preparing lessons, according to the learning situation of the students in this class, we should adopt teaching methods suitable for the students in this class to be targeted, time-saving and efficient. For example, the class I teach has a weak foundation in the first year. When preparing lessons, we will pay attention to the basics, especially the explanation of knowledge points, focusing on basic knowledge and expanding appropriately. In addition, in the process of teaching material content processing, we should also consult relevant materials, understand the cutting-edge information, and screen, sort out and process it to make it what students need and are interested in, so that students will listen to whatever you say. If students want to listen to you, they need to speak brilliantly, and they need to accumulate and hone their own language. Grasp the students' thinking and make them completely under your control, which is the so-called "good singer makes people follow the voice;" A good teacher makes people follow their ambitions. "

Second, the choice of teaching strategies

1, good guidance, a good class, lead design is very important, it can stimulate students to think positively and enter the learning hall of this class with a strong thirst for knowledge. As the saying goes, everything is difficult at the beginning. Similarly, good lead-in is the key to a good class and a magic wand to attract students to learn. Therefore, in English teaching, English songs, English short stories and English humor can be chosen as the lead-in parts to attract students' attention and stimulate their interest in learning.

2. Clever questions to stimulate students' interest in thinking. People's thinking activities are related to certain problems and tasks. Thinking starts with the problem and goes deep into it. Without problems and tasks, there will be no active thinking activities. Therefore, the first step of teaching, teachers should constantly set doubts and think about problems in teaching. By asking questions, students can be brought into the "problem situation", thus stimulating their thirst for knowledge, which is a positive psychological state for students to explore knowledge. Students who are eager to learn actively explore knowledge and create problem situations are important ways to stimulate students' learning motivation and cultivate their thirst for knowledge.

3. Be diligent in training and cultivate students' thinking habits. The cultivation of students' thinking ability is not achieved overnight, but a gradual process over time. Teachers must seize the main position of classroom teaching, make full use of every link in teaching, train step by step, supplemented by appropriate exercises. There must be some exercises after each class, but the design of exercises should be carefully screened, the curriculum standard is the best basis, and the questions should be flexible and diverse. Therefore, we can use and strengthen students' divergent thinking and cultivate students' thinking habit of being good at analysis and comprehensive evaluation. The power of habit is great, and the effect will be seen after a period of time.

Third, adopt flexible and diverse teaching methods and means.

1. Make full use of multimedia to stimulate students' interest in learning. For students, interest is the best teacher and one of the driving forces of learning. At present, due to the heavy learning tasks, students are generally tired of learning and are basically in a passive learning state. Therefore, cultivating students' interest in learning is the basis of exerting their learning initiative. Multimedia attracts students' attention and stimulates students' interest and motivation with its vivid images, vivid sounds and flexible characteristics. But multimedia can only be a demonstration tool in the hands of teachers, and it can't replace teachers. Therefore, the teaching process should be arranged reasonably and carefully, so that teaching and learning are correct. In the process of multimedia teaching, we should pay attention to the leading role of teachers from beginning to end, so that teachers' guiding narrative can be combined with students' observation, analysis, thinking and initiative, so as to achieve audio-visual combination and complementary advantages.

2, entertaining.

(1) Game Competition Teaching Method

Junior one students are childlike, but they are also very disappointing. In view of this psychological feature, the application of game teaching and group competition in English teaching can activate students' thinking and stimulate their interest. German educator Stoke said: "The art of teaching lies not in imparting skills, but in inspiring, awakening and inspiring." The teaching method of game competition makes every student participate in language game activities with high and exciting emotions, makes students consciously and actively carry out thinking activities, accepts what they have learned happily in joy, and cultivates their team spirit.

(2) Create a real language environment

As a language, English is based on communication. If language is divorced from a certain situation, it is difficult to express it properly and play its essential role in expression and communication. Real language environment can improve students' interest in learning English and stimulate their initiative in learning, thus improving the efficiency of English classroom teaching. Nowadays, English textbooks are very suitable for daily life, such as greeting each other, making phone calls, introducing new friends, playing games, talking about the weather, shopping and borrowing books. These are common things in students' daily life. Once they have mastered this knowledge, they can use it in actual language communication. Teachers should try their best to introduce real life into teaching. For example, when teaching the content of "asking for directions", students can be grouped, and each person plays a different role, that is, passers-by, traffic police, tourists and so on. In short, in English teaching, teachers should design general and practical communication scenarios as far as possible according to the content of the teaching materials, so that students can play different roles in English class and practice their language, thus integrating boring content into interesting situational teaching and entertaining teaching.

Fourth, give full play to the advantages of evaluation.

Teachers should be good at capturing the best "evaluation points", give students objective, sincere and developed evaluations from different angles, and always pay attention to the positive feelings of students (including other students who have not spoken) on evaluation. Zankov said, "It's easy to like those beautiful students. Our teacher's ability is to like those students who are not very beautiful (beautiful here doesn't mean appearance). "To evaluate our teaching process, we should not only positively evaluate outstanding students, but also find positive' evaluation points' from those students who don't answer well and give them encouragement and confidence. Of course, we should also objectively point out the shortcomings. The key is to grasp the current level of students and not to impose the expected results of teachers on every student. In short, teachers should be good at keenly discovering the advantages of students and look at the growth of students with a developmental perspective. It should also be the efforts of our teachers to promote the development of each student and discover the changes of each student. Therefore, the evaluation should be timely, appropriate and moderate.

Fifth, emphasize summary, enjoy reflection and promote promotion.

Teachers' personal growth is not rapid but cultivated, and their personal level is not in memory but in understanding.

Every time after class, there will always be satisfaction and dissatisfaction. Sit down in time after class to reflect, correct and write a good teaching essay. As a new teacher, after-class reflection is particularly important for his growth and teaching level, because only summing up can improve and reflection can make progress.

In short, to improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching, first, rely on teachers' teaching experience and wisdom, fully prepare lessons and prepare students; Second, choose teaching strategies suitable for students' cognitive ability and needs, and establish autonomous learning classrooms; Thirdly, flexible and diverse teaching means and methods; Fourth, there should be appropriate and moderate testing and evaluation; Fifth, do a good job in teaching notes and be good at summing up and reflecting.
