Teacher-student relationship is the cognitive, emotional and behavioral connection between students and teachers in school environment. As a part of children's interpersonal relationship, teacher-student relationship is an important part of children's socialization, which has certain influence on children's school adaptability.

-I quickly said.

Research shows that a good teacher-student relationship can help younger students adapt to the school environment better.

Taking 206 kindergarten students and 16 teachers as samples, this experiment analyzes the influence of intimacy, dependence and conflict between teachers and students on children's school adaptability.

Different from previous studies, in this study, the standard of students' "adaptation to the school environment" is not limited to academic performance, but covers factors such as attitude towards the school and participation in activities, which has more social significance.

Among the three factors, "intimacy" refers to the ability of teachers and students to communicate frankly and support students. Therefore, the intimacy between teachers and students is positively related to students' academic performance.

"Dependence" refers to students' excessive dependence on teachers. Contrary to intimacy, dependence is considered to be a factor that interferes with children's adaptation to school. Loneliness and negative feelings about school are more common among students who are highly dependent.

"Conflict" is manifested in the lack of interaction and harmonious relationship between teachers and students. Contradictions and conflicts prevent students from relying on the relationship between teachers and students to get enough support, and may cause anger or anxiety.

The results show that students with good teacher-student relationship will have better academic performance than children who are alienated, highly dependent or in conflict with their teachers. The positive teacher-student relationship makes students seldom feel lonely or unable to integrate in school, and they will have a more positive attitude towards school.

Finally, the results of this study are also an inspiration to educators. Because the relationship between teachers and students has a great influence on students' adaptation to the school environment, teachers should also pay attention to maintaining a benign relationship with students in order to better guide students.
