Candidates need to participate in the continuing education of licensed pharmacists every year after obtaining the qualification certificate and successfully registering. The credit system is applied to the continuing education of licensed pharmacists, and those who have obtained the qualification of licensed pharmacists must participate in continuing education of not less than 16 credits every year, with a cumulative total of not less than 45 credits within 3 years of registration. Compulsory elective content shall not be less than 10 credits. The contents of the registration certificate of continuing education for licensed pharmacists include: continuing education content, classification, form, credits, examination results, date, teaching institutions, etc. The registration certificate, as a necessary document for the re-registration of licensed pharmacists, is uniformly printed by China Food and Drug Administration and kept by licensed pharmacists themselves. Credits obtained by licensed pharmacists participating in compulsory, elective and self-study courses shall be valid nationwide after registration of the Registration Certificate for Continuing Education of Licensed Pharmacists.
