Sichuan middle school students' track and field competition was held in Chengdu Xindu No.1 Middle School. Wei and Gong Qiudan, students of Longchang No.1 Middle School, won the women's 100 meter hurdles with a score of 14.2 seconds, both of which broke the track and field records of middle school students in Sichuan Province.

Sponsored by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education and the Sichuan Provincial Sports Bureau, this competition attracted 873 athletes from 2/kloc-0 cities and counties in the province. During the three-day race, the athletes competed fiercely in 6 units and 34 events. 12 Longchang athletes fought hard in the competition, not afraid of the players with strong inner strength, 2 people broke the competition record, 10 people got points, with a total score of 1 19, 2 people won the title of national first-class athletes and 3 people won the title of national second-class athletes.

In recent years, Longchang City has fully implemented the Party's educational policy, attached great importance to youth sports, and solidly carried out a series of activities such as track and field, football and basketball, and achieved gratifying results. The downtown school won the national championship of "Yao Fund" basketball game twice; Shixiang Central School participated in the 6th and 7th National Aerobics Dance Competition organized by the State Sports General Administration, and won the 1 special prize and 3 first prizes respectively.
