Matters needing attention in English translation
(1) As we all know, English sentences and Chinese sentences are completely different concepts. If we want to translate English into Chinese or Chinese into English, we need to change many things, such as sentence structure. If the sentence structure has not changed fundamentally, then the translation is still a stagnant pool.
(2) If you want to turn over a paper completely, you must pay attention to the use of words, including nouns and some written language, including the treatment of subject-predicate collocation. Especially for the translation of some technical terms, you need to be very strict to ensure that the translated articles can be understood by others.
The Origin and Development of English
(1) English is a West Germanic language, which was first used by Britain in the Middle Ages and became the most widely used language in the world because of its vast colonies. The Anglo tribe is the ancestor of the British, and it is one of the Germanic tribes that later migrated to Great Britain, called England.
(2) Since17th century, modern English has spread all over the world under the extensive influence of Britain and America. Through various print and electronic media in these countries, English has become one of the dominant languages in the world, and languages also occupy a dominant position in many regions and professional environments, such as science, navigation and law.
