Credit system for continuing education of licensed pharmacists

The continuing education of licensed pharmacists is subject to the credit system, and the credits obtained by participating in it every year shall not be less than 15 credits, and the accumulated credits within 3 years of registration shall not be less than 45 credits.

Compulsory and elective contents

Among them, the compulsory and elective contents shall not be less than 10 credits every year, and the self-study contents can accumulate credits.

Credit validity period

Credits obtained by licensed pharmacists participating in compulsory content, elective content and self-study content shall be valid nationwide after being registered in the Registration Certificate for Continuing Education of Licensed Pharmacists.

Resignation system

The continuing education of licensed pharmacists is subject to the registration system, and the registration contents include: continuing education content, classification, form, credits, assessment results, date, teaching institutions, etc.

If the compulsory and elective contents are implemented in the form of online education and distance education, and pass the examination, the teaching institution will issue the Credit Certificate for Continuing Education of Licensed Pharmacists (see attached table 1), and the food and drug supervision and administration departments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government will register the credits on the Registration Certificate for Continuing Education of Licensed Pharmacists with this certificate and withdraw the registered Credit Certificate for Continuing Education of Licensed Pharmacists.
