In the 1990s, when Shandong University of Political Science and Law was preparing for reconstruction, it thought about merging with two similar colleges in the province, namely Shandong Police College and Shandong Judicial Police Vocational College (Shandong Law School). At that time, there was a precedent in China to change from an adult education institution to an ordinary institution of higher learning, and the Ministry of Education also issued a prohibitive policy. From the preparatory process, it can be seen that on the one hand, it is to support the reconstruction of Shanzheng, on the other hand, if the preparatory work is unsuccessful, it is possible to integrate relevant subject resources and teacher experts into Shanda Law School. But China University of Political Science and Law has never heard of establishing a Shandong campus.
