Today, the topic of my speech is "Teachers' Profession and Morality".
Among all the forces that promote social progress, teachers play a sacred role. From the moment I started to step onto the pulpit of primary school, I told myself that I must work hard, shoulder my responsibilities and be worthy of every student who is eager for knowledge and talent.
People often say, "Love a line when you do it". As a teacher, I know that teachers' work is ordinary and trivial, and teachers' life is bitter and pitiful. Teachers have a sense of self-satisfaction in the perfection of knowledge structure and a sense of pride in educating people in the world in spiritual sustenance. Only when you fall in love with this profession can you really be willing to devote yourself to this ordinary work and realize your social value; Only by respecting the cause of education, even taking pleasure in suffering and taking pleasure in suffering, can we have great motivation to struggle. As a teacher, I know that I shoulder the heavy responsibility of "preaching, teaching and solving doubts". With the care of the leaders and the help of my colleagues, I quickly developed good working habits and mastered some teaching methods.
Preparing lessons is the premise of a good class. Teachers' educational concept and professional quality are two main aspects that restrict the behavior of preparing lessons and affect the quality of preparing lessons. Idea is the forerunner of behavior. Educational concept directly affects teachers' educational behavior and indirectly affects teachers' moral behavior. Educational idea is the soul of teachers' professional ethics. The new era requires teachers to establish a new concept of education, development and students. Teachers' professional qualities include professional knowledge, professional skills and professional feelings. Among them, teachers' professional emotion includes professional ideal, professional emotion and professional orientation. Professional ideal is the basis of teachers' professional ethics. It is the basic requirement of teachers' professional ideal to establish education, teach and educate people with correct educational ideas and have a sense of educational responsibility. Therefore, in order to prepare lessons well, teachers must first change their educational concepts; Secondly, we should constantly improve and perfect the professional quality. Whether the student-centered concept is established is not only reflected in teachers' behavior in classroom teaching, but also in teachers' lesson preparation. In the past, our lesson plans generally focused on expressing teachers' activities. For example, the teaching goal is expressed as "cultivating students …" "cultivating students …" "cultivating students …" and so on. For another example, the design content of the teaching process is generally only teaching steps (or teaching links), only what teachers do and how to do it, and there is little (or no) content about what students do and how to do it, and there is no design of "teaching students in accordance with their aptitude".
Designing teaching for students' individualized development requires teachers to carry out "individualized" design teaching for each different student when preparing lessons. Therefore, teachers need to fully analyze the different characteristics of students and take the basic characteristics and specific conditions of students as the starting point of design, instead of taking the average level of students as the hypothetical teaching object, or being "porters" of "teaching plans" and "teaching reference", or following the "old" teaching plans, which is called "arrogance". In order to make teaching face all students and pay more attention to students' individualized development, it is particularly important for teachers to do the following two things: (1) On the basis of fully studying students, according to their own experience and existing knowledge, design teaching for students' individualized learning. For example, the multi-interpretation design of text in reading teaching, the diversified design of problem-solving methods in mathematics teaching and the exercise design suitable for students of different levels. (2) On the premise of being familiar with students' individual differences and discovering students' individual characteristics, design teaching for students' individualized development. For example, the design based on students' multiple intelligences should reasonably design students' roles in cooperative learning.
Putting the above concept of preparing lessons into practice is a concrete act of dealing with teaching materials and designing teaching.
(1) Teachers should combine students' actual thinking when dealing with textbooks. For example, how to arouse students' interest, how to stimulate students' thirst for knowledge, how to guide students to discover and explore problems themselves, how to stimulate students' enthusiasm for practical activities and so on.
(2) The determination of teaching objectives must be based on students' needs and focus on promoting students' all-round development. For example, whether it is beneficial to students' future development, whether it pays attention to the pertinence and effectiveness of teaching objectives and learning requirements, whether it pays attention to students' personality differences and so on.
(3) When determining the teaching structure, we should pay attention to students' realistic state and consider students' practical ability, so that the teaching rhythm conforms to the law of students' learning.
(4) When choosing teaching strategies, we should effectively stimulate students' interest in learning, effectively guide students' learning, and pay attention to the cultivation of students' awareness of problems and innovation.
(5) Change the concept of education and implement differential education. Students are the masters of learning and the subjects of development. Teachers are facing the future of students, not personal honor and interests, and should be based on the growth of students. Therefore, teaching and educating people should not be quick success and instant benefit, but should focus on the overall situation. We can't be influenced by the thought of exam-oriented education, and we are used to looking only at the present, regardless of the future, at the expense of depriving students of their individuality, in exchange for teachers' dignity as teachers; At the expense of students' interest in learning, excessively demanding students' grades in exchange for temporary high scores. As we all know, Edison went to school at the age of seven and dropped out of school because of poor grades. Einstein could talk at the age of two and was mentally retarded at school. Heine, a German poet, is a well-known underachiever. Putin's academic performance in elementary school was a mess, and now he has become the president who helped pull down the Russian economy. Facts show that there is no obvious connection between academic performance and creativity. Creativity is divided into morning and evening. The more individual, the more outstanding creativity. Personality is the premise of creation. If we accept that personality diversity is a valuable thing and a kind of wealth, we will not divide students into three or six grades according to their grades. In our eyes, there will be no poor students, only differences. Implement differentiated education and realize differentiated development.
(6) Set an example and show affection for people. Education can't follow the trend and follow formalism, which is also an irrational short-term behavior of quick success and instant benefit, because students' growth and development are staged and can't be consistent and unified. It is often some educational details that can really enlighten and profoundly influence students. We should find the bright spots of students, give them timely praise and appreciate them sincerely. Most of our teachers have a strong sense of responsibility. However, a sense of responsibility alone is not enough. We should turn simple "responsibility" into rich "emotion" to face all kinds of problems among students.
As the saying goes, "learning to be excellent is an official, and you are highly respected." An excellent teacher should not only have rich knowledge, but also have a good professional ethics, so that his students can not only improve their professional knowledge, but also learn how to be a capitalized person from the teacher's teaching. So I pay special attention to this problem in my usual teaching work. Years of teaching experience, let me sum up the teaching concept of "Chinese is everywhere in life and Chinese is everywhere in education"; The educational principle of "ideological education is the key and habitual attitude is the key". Therefore, in the usual education and teaching work, I can do it: while imparting knowledge to students, I can consciously guide students to develop healthy and progressive ideology and morality and behavior habits that conform to social norms. In addition, taking advantage of being a class teacher and combining my years of educational experience and children's educational experience, "grasping children's psychology and entering children's hearts" has become a magic weapon for me to communicate with children. Therefore, I often find opportunities to communicate with my classmates after class, understand their learning and living conditions, sincerely answer their questions and puzzles in study, life and thought, help them correct their learning attitude, improve their learning methods, set goals, broaden their horizons, encourage them to keep their positive and enterprising spirit, and don't waste good time.
