1. Bing Wen College:
Bingwen Academy is named after Mr. Guo Bingwen, a famous educator, one of the predecessors of Nanjing University and the president of National Southeast University. Mr. Guo Bingwen is regarded as the most active educator in China on the international stage. He presided over the National Southeast University, which was called the first modern national higher education university in China and the earliest modern university in China.
Bingwen College inherits Mr. Guo Bingwen's spirit of cultivating talents for the country, fully responds to the overall requirements of building a "three-round education", strives to build a community of growth and innovation for teachers and students, and lays a solid foundation for cultivating high-quality new liberal arts talents in the new era through freshmen's adaptive education.
Second, Xingzhi Academy:
Xingzhi Academy is named after Mr. Tao Xingzhi, a famous educational thinker in China. As a great people's educator, Mr. Tao Xingzhi was admitted to Nanjing Huiwen College on 1909, and transferred to Jinling University, the predecessor of Nanjing University, to study liberal arts the following year. After returning from studying in the United States, he successively served as a professor at Nanjing Normal School, a professor at National Southeast University, and director of education.

Youxun Academy is named after Mr. Wu, the president of Central University, the predecessor of Nanjing University. Mr. Wu has made outstanding contributions to the establishment and understanding of Compton effect with systematic and exquisite experiments and incisive theoretical analysis, and cultivated a large number of pillars of the scientific community. He is known as the founder of China's physics research.
Under the leadership of the Freshmen College, the training college has further promoted the implementation of the melting pot project and the new three-dimensional and four-dimensional talent training system, steadily and orderly promoted the management mode of the college system, further helped freshmen adapt to the university campus better and faster in study, life, psychology and culture, explored a new mechanism for running the best undergraduate education in China, and added new impetus.
